After working as a free lance programmer in the area of Search Engine Optimization Laurie became certain she could offer solutions at a cost far less than the industry standard.  The final decision to start a new company came when she met the developers of PRIMESITE.  This user friendly content management system offered a perfect solution for affordable website development. Today approximately 70% of the work done at Smat Consulting is done by Laurie.  Other important team members include Mancel Herring, Todd Hoeff, and Scott Carr.  Mancel and Todd are graphic artist and also have over ten years of experience in web application programming and are almost always involved in projects involving high level web solutions and graphic design.  Scott is the expert in open source web development platforms as well as data base programming.
